“It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter the kingdom of God.” They were even more astonished and said to Him, “Then who can be saved?” Looking at them, Jesus said, “With people it is impossible, but not with God; for all things are possible with God.” Mark 10: 25-27.
These are words of comfort for me today. The Bible tells us that with man, it is impossible, but with God, all things are possible.
Who Can Be Saved Apart From God?
This verse is in response to the disciples asking Jesus, “Who can be saved if salvation is harder than a camel going through the eye of a needle?”. Jesus tells them that a man cannot have salvation on his own, but with God, it is possible.
God is Powerful Enough To Handle Your Problems
If God is powerful enough to give us salvation from hell, then isn’t He powerful enough to handle the problems in our life?
Maybe today, you are struggling with an issue in your marriage or some other part of your life. It might seem completely impossible to work through the problems you are dealing with. The Bible teaches us that with God, all things are possible.
Can You Handle The Problem On Your Own?
No! You don’t have to. What you do have to do, is give God control of the situation. If you decide to handle it on your own, it isn’t going to go well for you. In the end, you’ll end up in a bigger mess.
It is so hard to let God be in control, isn’t it? I don’t say these words lightly. I know exactly how hard it is to let God be God in my life. It is even harder for me to let God be God in the life of other people that I deeply love.
I hope that today, you will claim these promises like I have.
There will always be situations in your life that require you to trust fully in Christ. The question becomes, will you trust Him?
A Call To Obedience
Trust is more than just a passive attitude. Obedience is required when it comes to trusting. You can’t just sit back and watch the magic happen.
Real trust requires you know God’s Word and be obedient to it. Being obedient is hard. It means that you have to put aside what you want to do, and do what God has asked of you.
I urge you to put your trust in the Almighty God today. Give him your problems and be obedient to His word.
