Feel Closer to Your Spouse By Doing This Each Day

Many people ask me how to feel closer to their spouse. I brought Angela Martin on today to share some of her thoughts on this subject. She has some great ideas that will help you to feel more intimate with your spouse.

Here’s what she has to say-

Staying close to your spouse is important, if you want to be with them forever. You must make an effort to feel close to them every day. Here’s a few ideas on what you can do every day to feel closer:

Touch Each Other

Touching one another is really important. Even if you just sit next to one another on the sofa, this will help you both to feel closer and develop more intimacy. Some couples allow their children to sit in between them, but having your kids sit around you while you and your partner sit together is better.

Kiss Often

Kissing one another every day is important too. It’s all too easy to get out of the habit of kissing one another, and before you know it, you can’t remember the last time you kissed. Get into the habit of kissing every day and you’ll feel a lot more intimately connected.

Spend Quality Time

Spending quality time together is a must every day. You probably both lead busy lives, but ensuring you spend even just a little quality time is crucial. This could be a genuine, uninterrupted conversation about how your day has been. It could be over a nice cup of coffee made with an espresso machine like those shown here www.shopgourmetkitchen.com. Eating your meals together is another brilliant way to spend quality time.

Establish The Same Night and Morning Routines

If you can both get into the same routine when it comes to waking up and going to bed, you’ll feel far closer. Of course this isn’t possible for everybody, as it depends on what you do for a living. However, if you can both get up together and enjoy some breakfast and have a goodbye kiss. It’s a great way to start the day.

Going to bed together gives you a chance to read together and have a cuddle before dozing off too.

Look For The Best In Your Spouse

Each and every day, look for the best in your spouse. This isn’t to say you should ignore serious issues, but you should definitely ignore imperfections that don’t matter. Always think about why you are choosing them today. It’ll make you appreciate them so much more. Too many people look for the worst in their partners and, of course, this leads to trouble!

Say Something Both Nice And Creative

Saying nice, genuine things to one another is crucial. However, try to think out of the box a little. Don’t just stick with the usual ‘I love you’, or ‘you look nice’. Get creative with your compliments, tell them why exactly you love something about them. It’ll be so refreshing and make you both feel great.

Do these things each and every day and you should both feel closer than ever. Getting into these good habits is really important if you want to keep the spark alive! What do you do every day to keep your spark alive and feel close to your spouse?

I like them all. However, this is one of the better ones for me “LOOK FOR THE BEST IN YOUR SPOUSE” as it means a spouse is not looking to nag, nitpick or complain.

Be more proactive to create a wonderful relationship!

    Thanks for your positive suggestions.
