Now that it is New Year’s, I thought I would share some of my goals for this year. I’m not really into resolutions so much, but I do create a plan and go with it.
Here are the things that I am going to work on this year.
I worked very hard about 3 years ago to lose weight. In the end, I dropped 30 pounds, which took me down 2 sizes in clothing. It was pretty transformational.
Over the last few years, I have kept most of the weight off, but I put on a few pounds every couple of months if I am not careful. Back in March, Austin and I were doing a challenge to lose, and we both lost a few pounds.
Since then, I have put those pounds back on and I’m ready to take them off again. This time, though, I want to get smaller then I did when I stopped counting calories. My goal is to lose at least 15 pounds. I’m going to reach that weight and decide if I want to go any further.
Plans For My Family
When it comes to my kids, I am going to bring the older two boys home from public school to homeschool them. I will also be homeschooling my youngest son as well. This is going to be a huge commitment and require a lot of work on all of our parts.
Austin’s and My Marriage Goals
This morning, Austin and I spent a little time talking about some of our marriage goals. We think it is very important to check in our marriage from time to time. Even if we are doing well, we still engage in conversation.
We decided that there are some things we want to work on in our relationship when it comes to the way we talk to each other. There are better ways to communicate our feelings about our expectations then what we are doing.
Over the next several months, we will figure out better ways of communicating to each other so that we can avoid as many hurt feelings.
My Business Plans
If you didn’t know, I am a freelance writerwhen I’m not blogging here. In my business this year, I plan to:
increase my yearly earnings by $5,000
make a list every day of what needs to be accomplished
take off one day a week
Goals For Love Hope Adventure
Everyone seems to love the sexy truth or dare game I have on here. I have the idea of creating a short couples truth or dare book that I can publish on Amazon. It is going to be a short book, but one that I feel will be well received.
Another thing that I hope to do here on the blog is to tell you more about our love story. Every couple has a love story that is full of ups and downs. It is really important to me that I am transparent with both the good times and bad.
I plan to do more on Periscope over the coming year. I haven’t fully thought it through or how I’ll change, but I know I want to do more with it. Right now, I’m scoping once a day on weekdays for the most part and you can catch me about midday, or see my old scopes on Katch.me/lovehopeadvent.
What are your plans and goals for this year? I’d love for you to share them with me in the comments.
