What is The Book About
Gary Chapman and Harold Myra teamed up to share about the struggles couples who are in a long term marriage face. It is hard work to stay married for you whole life, but it can be just as exciting and amazing as you make it.
They give some great advice on how to stay adventurous in your marriage, cultivate a great sex life, deal with grown children, and continually grow in deeper relationship with each other.
I think that they have done a great job of addressing the most pressing issues that older couples face.
What if I’ve Not Been Married a Long Time, Will it Still Benefit Me?
Oh absolutely! I think that it is very important that even if you haven’t been married for a long time, that you know what to expect out of those years. You can never start preparing too early for the things you might face.
Long before I got married, or even met Mr. Right, my parents gave me marriage advice. They taught me about having a good relationship long before I needed it. I can’t tell you how amazing their investment was in my marriage today.
I think that anyone who is married can benefit from reading this book. I’ll give my full review on it in the coming weeks.
