If you didn’t know, I absolutely loooooove Valentine’s Day. It is my favorite holiday for sure. In fact, my house has been decorated for it for the last few weeks.
So, why is it my favorite holiday? It all stems back to when I was a kid. My dad was my first Valentine and he always gave me a card and a small gift for the day. It wasn’t big or extravagant, but it was always very special to me.
My love for Valentine’s grew the year my friend got married. She was set to get married in the summer, but had to move up the date with little notice. She got married in the first part of January. I remember taking her to Walmart to get some last minute things.
While we were there, I split off from her and rummaged through the Valentine’s Day things to put together a wedding night basket. (Yes, I was making sex baskets way back then, too). It was then that fell in love with all of the beautiful VDay decorations. The holiday was even more special to me ever since then.
I love to celebrate love and this time of year is the perfect time to do that.
Other things on my mind-
